To "commission" a photographer, it would be necessary for you the client to provide a brief to the company of exactly what your requirements are. We would then propose one or more photographers together with samples of their work and possibly arrange meetings to discuss matters further.
In these situations it is often the case that the client would work very closely with the photographer and in some cases possibly request that they be allowed to attend the actual shoot. To achieve the very best results possible it is important that the client and photographer have a good relationship.
Legal matters are normally discussed and agreed prior to any photography commencing. The matters we are referring to are: usage of images, ownership of copyright, the assignment of copyright, and of course not forgetting the fee.
