Newsletter February 2009

Newsletter – FEBRUARY 09.

Firstly Carol and I would like to apologise for not being in touch towards the end of last or in fact to wish you all a very happy Christmas and New Year. Only the year did not end on the happiest note for my family and I, because of this we would just like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who conveyed your condolences to us in our recent moment of loss, it was appreciated very much. However the good news towards the end of the year was that we became grand parents again (3rd time) with a little baby boy courtesy of my daughter. All doing well and not too many sleepless nights!

February’s Course:

Last Friday I produced and ran a course for one of my clients, the course being "How To Get Off P&A" (Programmable & Auto) on your digital camera. On arrival at the venue, and to my shock and horror, I was told there where to be 60 attendees, wrong thank heavens only 22, more hotpot for us all!!

It was great to meet so many new people and to have a play with so many different types of cameras. This was most certainly an education for us all. The day went fine and a lot of new friends and aquaintances where made. I for one will look forward to seeing some, if not all of you again on some more courses and workshops.

What’s On For This Year??

This year is already beginning to get booked up with both group and one 2 one courses & workshops.

In addition to our courses and workshops I will be reviewing various pieces of equipment, accessories, software, and books.

Some of the companies which I have now confirmed a positive future working relationship with, are:

Canon UK.

OnOne (Extensis) Software.

Various Book Publishers.

Wildlife Watching Supplies.

For further information on any or all of these topics I suggest you check out our web site www.fotographicimages.co.uk or contact me directly.

If there is a specific question, suggestion or requests which you would like to discuss with me, please do not hesitate in contacting me at john@Fotographicimages.co.uk

What’s Your Plans for This Year?

Not got anything planned yet for this year? Well this is the time and place to start, all you need is a pen and paper and possibly a diary if you have one. Write down a list of what you want to photograph, where and when. Put each subject/specie in the correct monthly order and conduct some research on each topic. This will give a reminder and guide of what to do and when. It is much better than forgetting!! Alternatively you can let me become your personal organiser, drop me a line, have a chat, and book on one or more of my workshops and leave the rest to me. What could be simpler???
